GENESIS
Why is Genesis here?
No matter who you are it is important to understand that life began with a plan. We did not come out of some ooze and eventually crawl up onto land, form some creature, evolve into a monkey and then finally man. No that is not what happened, you are not a highly developed monkey you are and always have been a Human formed by God's own hands. The only thing that you as a Christian should recognize as correct about the theory of evolution is that it is a theory developed by man, that's it, it's just a theory.
Well what really happened?
In the beginning God created heaven and earth. Then God said "let there be light" God separated the light from the dark and called the light day and the dark night. The first day.
Then God said "let there be a horizon in the middle of the water in order to separate the water" God named what was above the horizon sky. The second day.
Then God said "let the water under the sky come together in one area and let dry land appear" God name the dry land earth. Then God said "let the earth produce vegetation. Let plants produce seed unto its own kind and fruit unto its own kind" and it was so. The third day.
Then God said "let there be lights in the sky to separate the day from the night. They will be signs to mark religious festivals, day and years. They will be light in the sky to shine upon the earth." And it was so God made two lights the larger one to rule the day and the smaller one to govern the night. The fourth day.
Then God said "let the water swarm with swimming creatures and let birds fly through the sky over the earth" The fifth day.
Then God said "let the earth produce every type of living creature; every type of domestic animal, crawling animal and wild animal." And it was so. Then God said "let us make humans in our image, in our likeness, let them rule the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the domestic animals all over the earth, and all the animals that crawl on the earth." The sixth day.
On the seventh day God had finished his work and he blessed the day making it holy.
